One-of-a-kind, heirloom-quality hammered copper tops have been individually hand-hammered, formed and assembled using processes and techniques that are hundreds of years old. The natural patina will vary from area to area and piece to piece. Just prior to being packaged, a light coat of paste wax is applied. This application will temporarily slow down the natural aging process. Much like an antique, heavy-wall kitchen pot or pan the surface appearance will be the direct result of the approach you take to maintenance.
